Runs every Thursday. Guest bids put in and researching carried out. Phone calls received, screened and transferred live to the presenter Trish Adudu.

Voice overs for OH TV commercials done. Featured in 2011 Black History Month Vox Pop/Interview-screened on TV and online.

Ran Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's. Guest booking, content research, scripting links, briefs, running order, liasing with production team and presenters,

Staff team managed to provide support for tenants to develop skills and make quality decisions about their future.

Housing advice offered to help maximise opportunities and secure permanent accommodation to clients. Risk assessments conducted and risk management plans developed. 

External agencies and internal departments worked with to provide support. Health & Safety procedures maintained.

Company policy reviewed. Budget and rent for supported housing scheme managed. Administrative tasks carried out and reports (housing, tenancy,rent) produced using MS Office,

Outlook the Internet and fax. Regular training attended- (Bid & tender writing, Masterclass Management Training, Windsor). On call duties fulfilled.

Luton Borough Council- Rent Officer:      Temporary Contract                 July 2008 - March 2009

A patch of 300 council tenants monitored each week for rent. Face to face interviews and frontline services in the community delivered. 

Council tenants "signed up" properties. Eviction reports prepared and hearings attended. Familiarity with the In-House system, Academy, 

Comino and Outlook gained. Regular housing training sessions attended.

 

St Christopher's Housing- Youth Project Worker:                                   July 2008- March 2009 (occasional shifts)

Service users supervised and activities carried out. Administrative tasks completed including filling daily logs and keeping files up to date.

L & D Radio- Communications Officer : 11 May 2010 - 20 June 2011

Communication and Public Relations carried out on behalf of the station. This entails contacting MPs and community groups to canvass support for the station,

writing regular reports as well as directing the editorial for the annual LDHR magazine. I liaise with local theatres to provide free performance tickets of their

latest productions for presenters to use in competitions on their shows. Annual radio magazine currently being put together including celebrity contribution

from former boxer- Frank Bruno. Other administrative tasks carried out. Radio volunteers regularly updated on radio news.

 

L & D Radio Presenter: May 2009 - Ongoing 2011

A one hour weekly radio show presented on LDHR using a Myriad play-out system. The show goes out to patients, visitors and staff at the hospital on 1134MW and is streamed live online.
It features patient requests, music, a “poetry time”, end of the week news quiz and interviews as well as a news update and a live weather report. 
Jingles and promos written and recorded. Pre-recorded shows recorded and edited as back-ups. Research carried out in preparation of each show. 
A four-month training process and radio screen test preceded the weekly aired programmes.
